Capture Schooling Fish with Ease and a few simple Secrets

By Tobias Friedrich

Schooling fish in large groups like these barracuda can be difficult to photograph. It's best to capture them moving in one direction. Try to get a bit closer to create a narrower view on to the school. Then, add light, like the Sea Dragon 2000F to see more details and some reflection from these fascinating fish. If you want to capture the whole school or a wider scene of the subjects or reef, it’s worth looking into SeaLife’s Micro Wide Angle Dome Lens.

Equipment: SeaLife Micro 3.0, Auto White Balance, Sea Dragon 2000F Photo/Video Light.
