Diving

While diving with this liveaboard in the Philippines, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful reefs in the world as well as wrecks, caves and steep walls in search of sharks, pygmy seahorses and bountiful fish species. The Visayas itineraries are suitable to intermediate and advanced divers, but currents around Tubbataha Reef make those trips most appropriate for advanced divers.

The Siren’s route and order of sites visited are heavily influenced by weather conditions and sea currents. Therefore, each trip differs from the last, but dives are rarely cancelled.

Depending on the distance the Philippine Siren needs to cover, divers, average about four dives a day. On trips through the Visayas, the fourth dive is a night dive, but on trips to Tubbataha, the fourth dive is a sunset dive. Occasionally, afternoon dives may be replaced with land excursions.

As a member of the Siren Fleet, the Philippine Siren includes every amenity necessary for a comfortable diving experience. A shaded dive deck provides individual storage drawers and spacious stations for gearing up. Numbered deck towels are provided to each guest. As an added perk, the Philippine Siren provides every diver with a full set of equipment, free of charge. Nitrox is also complimentary for those with the proper certification.

Two high-powered tenders which dock alongside the mothership ferry divers to and from dive sites. A boarding platform provides easy entry and exit.

Having a reputation as the professionals’ choice, the photography and videography amenities on the Philippine Siren are the pride of the ship. Indoor and outdoor workstations are provided along with numerous charging points, large storage drawers and large rinse tanks dedicated to electronics.
